WOTD: Hedonistic
The philosophy that pleasure is the most important pursuit. The name derives from the Greek word for “delight” ( hēdonismos from hēdonē for”pleasure”.)
I’m doing English Lit revision today (The Great Gatsby) and must have written this word nine billion times.*

Exams are a piece of cake
Every time that there is any exam-related news (take the British A Level results that came out yesterday) there’s a controversial news report in which people claim that exams are getting easier.
“Those kids of today, they have it so much easier than we did.”
