I am not Facebook’s biggest fan, although I will admit that I have an account which I look at for about four minutes whenever I am on my laptop. What I’ve never really understood about the whole social networking site, is the Facebook Status. I feel that it should be capitalized because of how important people seem to think that they are – those who update it every minute of their lives (or atleast, every time that anything new happens.)
To me, it’s just a big fat waste of time. If I am doing something which I want people to know about, Iwill tell them specifically. I mean, say I am at work. People who I care about know that I am at work, so updating my Facebook Status to reflect that just seems unnecessary.
If you are updating everytime something new happens, it could just become ridiculous.
