Narration

I’ve mentioned before about an internal monologue, and narration, but this is a bit different.

Today in English Lit, my teacher was talking about narration, and how we are all biased narrators for several reasons. He continued to discuss the process of narration and what information we tend to include.

I don’t tell you everything, and what I do tell you may be exaggerated, because I aim to interest and to write with some sort of flair or atleast purpose.

This ‘narration’ of my life, as it were, is incredibly inaccurate. What you see is a small snippit of my life, which I have written over the past… 2 months or so. This is not a linear narration, chronicling my life since birth, and all that the readers of this can discover is what I have been up to over the past few months.

There are details which I leave out, and things I throw in. This narration is no narration at all.

I realise this is brief, busy at the moment with school and work. When I next have the chance, I’ll write another post for my ‘The unhelpful Genie’ series or something. Apologies.
